Is a group of islands that are just north of Australia. They are a former British/Australia territory that became independent on Sept. 16, 1975. The country has a national police force and have worn several patch variations since the force was founded. Bougainville is an autonomous region of PNG which in 2005 formed the Bougainville Police Service.
